The Parcel 2 Portfolio Program, led by the Augusta Georgia Land Bank Authority (AGLBA), is designed to create a structured pipeline for emerging real estate developers who are interested in revitalizing neighborhoods through responsible land development.
The program moves participants through a step-by-step process that transforms beginners into project-ready developers capable of identifying development opportunities, structuring financing, assembling professional teams, and delivering projects that strengthen Augusta’s housing and commercial landscape.
How the Program Works
One virtual class a week, over eight weeks, building toward a parcel of your own.
1. Submit your Application and Pay your Registration Fee
Applications for the program open on October 5, 2026. Once selected for the program, you will be contacted to pay your registration fee
2. Take the Eight Week Course
A weekly online class covers what it actually takes to complete a home or rental build: scoping the project, hiring subcontractors, keeping to a schedule, and lining up funding.
3. Get Matched to a Parcel
Families who complete the course become eligible for a lot from the land bank’s inventory.
Unlike traditional real estate seminars, Parcel 2 Portfolio emphasizes implementation rather than theory, requiring participants to complete practical assignments that mirror real development activities.
Graduates of the program enter the Augusta Land Development Conference with actionable development concepts and relationships with financing partners, positioning them to move their projects toward acquisition and construction.
Over time, the program will help establish a sustainable pipeline of developers who are committed to reinvesting in Augusta’s neighborhoods.
